Do I require a Consultation?
Yes, all new clients at Electra Laser require a complimentary consultation and test patch before beginning treatment. During your consultation, the technician will assess your skin and hair, explain the laser hair removal process, and perform a small test patch. If your skin responds appropriately, treatment can usually begin at least 24 hours after the test patch.
What type of Laser do you use for Hair Removal?
We use the medical-grade Cynosure Elite+ dual-wavelength laser platform. It combines a 755 nm Alexandrite wavelength and a 1064 nm Nd:YAG wavelength in one system. Alexandrite is commonly used for lighter skin tones, while Nd:YAG may be appropriate for darker skin tones. How Does Laser Hair Removal Work?

How To Prepare Before Laser Hair Removal?
Shave the treatment area 12–24 hours before your appointment. Avoid waxing, tweezing or epilating for at least four weeks, and avoid tanning or prolonged sun exposure for four weeks. Arrive with clean, dry skin and do not apply lotions, oils, deodorant or makeup to the treatment area. Tell your technician about medications, recent sun exposure or skin changes. Your technician will provide personalized pre-care and aftercare instructions during your complimentary consultation.
